I’ve always had this special interest, a fetish one might say, about yesterday’s tomorrow. Those daredevilish visions, hopes and ideas about how the future might be like. I both find it extremely entertaining, fascinating and educational to get a glimpse of how we have imagined our future during the last century. I’ve even had the pleasure of doing several talks about the topic as a kickstart for idea generating workshops and R&D teams, who need some perspective on their own shortcomings I guess… ping me if you’re interested.

If anyone has been ambassadors of fabulating foresights it’s magazines like Popular Science, Mechanix and Popular Mechanics. I just found this great collection of 45 front pages from the best and wildest period, in my opinion, with some of the most cool and compelling illustrations.
