The 48 Hours in Denmark-concept was created to gain insight in to the habits of lead users in the field of digital tourism. By addressing them via their platforms of choice, and then by observing how they actually used them in a real life scenario, it became possible to develope an idea of what the future of an industry might look like.

Det er lige gået op for mig, at jeg så småt er begyndt at springe folks tweets på 140 tegn over, fordi de er for lange. Da Twitter var ved at slå igennem talte alle om, hvor svært det var at udtrykke sig med kun 140 tegn. Men vi tilpasser os de nye medier – det har vi alle dage gjort. Og i dag er 140 tegn altså lige i overkanten og jeg bliver decideret småirriteret, når folk frådser og sender mig en 160-tegns sms i romanstørrelse. Faktisk tager jeg mig af og til i at ønske, at en ven eller medarbejders historie blev fortalt i twitter-form.
