It’s interesting to see how Facebook is growing across the world. Yesterday evening after the official conference program was over I overheard a group of conference participants discussing Facebook. Around the table were people from China, Ghana, Tanzania, Brazil plus a number of European countries. Everybody was on Facebook poking old friends and keeping in touch with former schoolmates. Even on the computers set up in the exhibition area for participants to check mail, the most frequently used website seemed to be Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg the young Facebook founder certainly hit bull’s-eye with this initiative, and it’s fascinating to see how it is now spreading across the globe.
