Over the past six months, Seismonaut has helped Region Central Jutland and Region North Jutland promoting “Film and New Media” as a strategic focus area for the two regions. The initiative kicked-off yesterday with a conference in Viborg. Amongst the 200 participants were a number of representatives from the many higher educational institutions in the two regions that focus on film and new media, a large group of filmproduction CEOs and representatives from the political setting. On stage were speakers such as Asta Wellejus the former CEO at Zentropa Interaction and now founder of Die Asta Experience, Thomas Howalt from IO interactive – the makers of the top selling game Hitman, Helga Margret Reykdal from True North on Iceland and a group of other inspiring people.
