Actually Reading on the Amazon Kindle

Author
Daniel Ord Rasmussen
Excerpt

We’ve had a Kindle 2 lying around the office for a while, but we never really got round to actually getting anything worth reading on to it. During the weekend I finally transferred a bunch of Gutenberg books to it, along with the new Dan Brown book.

This is Houston – Right in Århus

Author
Maria Schwarz
Excerpt

“This is Houston”; one of the partners shouted as he entered the office this morning. On the photo below you might be able to see why he was inspired to outburst this announcement. However, let me be the first to tell you Seismonaut is not trying to create a command centre in the middle of [...]

Creativity and Post-its

Author
Christian Schwarz Lausten
Excerpt

It is almost too much of a cliché that creative processes include lots of post-its. We’ve even written about our addiction to those flappy fellows before. However, they are really useful and when used properly can ignite most creative sessions. It’s actually quite apt that the post-it invention it self celebrates the very innovative process [...]

Kudos to Skittles

Author
Daniel Ord Rasmussen
Excerpt

Skittles tried a new way of thinking recently, which stirred quite a few different reaction. Some were positive and some were negative, but most agreed that something different was being made available here.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about go check out www.skittles.com before you continue reading. I’ll go get a cup of [...]

Money money money

Author
Mads Jensen
Excerpt

As writen earlier, both the Dutch and the Brits were lucky last year, concerning the coins in their pockets. The Dutch because they had a very very cool sparkling new 5Euro coin introduced, and the Brits because they also had new and very cool coins introduced – a six coin set, ranging from 1p to [...]

Pepsi logo guidelines – BREATHTAKING

Author
Mads Jensen
Excerpt

Eversince Pepsi introduced the companys new identity, it has been subject to quite a lot of debate, mockery and eHate. Actually I even wrote about it myself – here (not hatefully though).
The sparks HAD cooled down over time, but now the whole thing has caught fire onceagain. Yesterday somebody published the Pepsi band guidelines for [...]

User experience ROI

Author
Jess Olsen
Excerpt

We all know it, we’ve heard it repeated over and over. “It’s the user experience that matters”, “we are in an experience economy”. Those of us still attending university have been fed those lines from researchers and teachers so many times, that we almost believe it by default. Although they may be right, one question [...]

iNoticed – interesting design spottings in 2008

Author
Mads Jensen
Excerpt

So, 2008 is coming to an end, and it’s time to sum it all up. Below is the stuff that I’ve found most interesting in the past year – good and bad. The list is totally disorganised, and thus not really a list. In these times of recession, I find it well in place though, [...]

First poster sightings

Author
Mads Jensen
Excerpt

Only around half an hour after I wrote my post about our FREE POSTERS, I received the first request for a copy. At 5 in the morning, I received the second request – and since then they have just kept ticking in, at a steady pace. There’s still some left though, so get ‘em while [...]
