Anders Boelskifte Mogensen
Anders works with clients to develop strategies for creating good experiences in the moments of engagement where people, products, services and technology meet, both online and offline.
Professional Background
Anders was born in Denmark, raised in the UK, Nigeria and US before once again returning to Denmark for a Masters Degree in Information Science at the University of Aarhus.
His international upbringing and strong intercultural understanding has taken him on a number of adventurous consulting assignments in both Africa and more recently the Middle East.
His primary home field, however, is neither Abu Dhabi nor Abuja but is instead the rapidly changing online environment.
Projects
Acknowledged as an expert on Travel 2.0 Anders has a thorough knowledge of how new media is impacting business practices in the travel industry. Having worked with a large number of clients within this field, he has developed a strong sense of how best to equip organisations with an understanding of the resources and knowledge needed to adapt to and succeed in a rapidly changing online market place.
Currently Anders is working on a book that shares case studies and highlights best practices in the use of new media tools in marketing tourism destinations. The handbook is due in December 2009.
During Off-hours
Anders is strongly involved in a number of non-profit projects in developing countries. Currently he oversees a highly successful project with the $100 laptop (OLPC) currently taking place at a primary school in Adamawa State, Nigeria
