Lars Cosh-Ishii

As a special treat for friends of Seismonaut we’ve got 10 seats at an afternoon meeting with Lawrence “Lars” Cosh-Ishii, which is being held as a joint venture between Geekhouse and Seismonaut. The talk will be entitled “The Business of Mobile in Japan”.

Lars is the director Mobikyo, a cutting edge media consultancy in Tokyo, and is a force to be reckoned with in the mobile media market. He’s a lead organizer of Mobile Monday Tokyo and publishes Wireless Watch Japan. Lars has worked with global companies such as Vivendi Universal, Nokia, Swisscom, Morgan Stanley, AT&T, Sony Ericsson, Disney, DoCoMo, Intel, Motorola, Adobe, HSBC, Vodafone and more.

He’s in Denmark to take part in the IOC meet in Copenhagen this week (you know, the one with Obama and Oprah), and he will be running the japanese delegation’s online presence during the week.

The afternoon session will take place on Thursday October 1st from 16:00 – 18:00 at Geekhouse (map). If you’d like to take part please leave a comment at the end of this post. First come, first served basis.
